You’re an experienced and innovative leader who leads by example. You have an exemplary track record playing the leading role to galvanize your team and provide leadership to all venue operations. With your strong organizational and communications skills, you continuously identify ways to identify and implement building and operational improvements.
As the Director, Venue/Arena Operations, you are accountable for efficiently managing operations at Save-On Foods Memorial Centre (Victoria). Leveraging your experience and knowledge of all aspects of arena and venue operations, you lead the building’s operations, including mechanical, ice/refrigeration, conversions and set up for hockey games, concerts, shows, and events. This exciting role provides overall operational leadership and support to ensure all events, hockey games, concerts and shows operate at peak efficiency.
To qualify for this fantastic opportunity, you have a diploma or degree in facilities management, experience with HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and safety, and proven leadership capabilities. Ideally, you have at least 3 years’ experience managing a similarly complex hockey arena and entertainment facility.
