Position: Coordinator, Group Sales
Department: Membership, Sales & BI
Reports to: Director, Ticket Sales and Service
POSITION SUMMARY:
Working collaboratively within the Membership, Sales & Business Intelligence team, the Coordinator, Group Sales is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of group sales initiatives and benefits, primarily supporting the Vancouver Canucks. This role plays a key part in driving group ticket sales volume and revenue through the development of “group nights” and activations throughout the season. The Coordinator will work closely with the Director, Ticket Sales and Service and Manager, Membership and Group Sales to ensure effective execution of all group initiatives and that group night targets are met. This role will also oversee the Minor Hockey group ticketing program, as well as the Non-Profit of the Game program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee the creation, planning and execution for all group nights throughout the season, including regularly scheduled meetings with internal stakeholders to monitor progress
- Work closely with Director, Ticket Sales & Service and the Manager, Membership and Group Sales to provide regularly scheduled progress updates and ensure group nights are tracking to target
- Build a comprehensive, season long schedule outlining dates for all group initiatives and ensuring all preparatory tasks are done in a timely manner
- Build out and manage a group benefits program
- Oversee order fulfillment and inventory management of any items and promotional materials tied to group sales initiatives
- Build out FEVO links for various group nights and initiatives
- Work closely with the marketing department to ensure alignment on group night communication and outreach
- Develop close relationships with key external stakeholders and group leaders, ensuring repeat business
- Plan and host group leader appreciation events
- Manage the minor hockey group ticketing program, including outreach strategy, benefits build out, ice times, etc.
- Develop a “Non-Profit of the Game” program to incentivize local charities to attend games in return for various benefits, exposure etc.
