WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Coordinator, Corporate Partnerships

The position holder ensures Corporate Partnerships team is able to complete their jobs efficiently and effectively by providing up to date inventory tracking records, budget tracking, account assistance, research, and administrative assistance to each member of the CP services and CP sales team. The individual also manages the portfolio of sponsor accounts and ensures all benefits are delivered during the tournament and year round.

  • Manage assigned accounts and ensure all contracted benefits are fulfilled
  • Manage inventory in a well-organized manner (signage, sampling, sponsor days, etc.)
  • Organize National Bank Open CP hosting program, including CP suite during tournament, invitations, follow up lists, etc.
  • Track expenses for CP team, collect invoices and track under each GL code
  • Provide support for teammates on all salesforce inquiries, including pulling reports, assistance with order input, etc.
  • Assist account managers with large accounts/special projects
  • Research prospective sponsors, create corporate profiles on specific companies directed by CP sales
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Vice-President Chief Commercial Officer and Director, Corporate Partnerships

WHO YOU ARE?

  • Bachelor’s degree specialized in business, sport management, marketing or any relevant field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in related field/sports industry
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Excel
  • Strong time management skills, ability to work well under pressure, strong problem-solving skills
  • Personable, organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Good communication skills, ability to work with members of other departments and senior management team
  • Interest in tennis

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • These functions require extensive hours leading up to/during the Rogers Cup. The position holder may have to deal with difficult clients or issues on a case-by-case basis.
  • Good physical shape as the position requires some heavy lifting during tournament and tournament set up to make sure tasks can be complete in a timely manner.
